Paper Trails of Rocky River is owned and managed by Katie A. Pickard. After nearly a decade in corporate marketing, sales, analytics and product management, Katie wanted to bring her expertise into a consumer market that would enrich the lives of those around her. With a longtime passion for writing and print media, Katie has a sincere belief in the value that stationery products can bring to her customers. The company is founded on the principle that encouraging people to communicate through the written word will enhance their sense of self expression and deepen relationships with those around them.
The shop is designed to carry a broad selection of paper and stationery merchandise, much different than those commonly sold at mass retailers. Products sold at Paper Trails are distinctive from other retailers in their bright design, clever style and witty charm. Merchandise lines are selected only if one question can be answered positively: “is this item charismatic enough to be viewed as work of art?”
By constantly striving to stay on top of the latest trends in paper, Paper Trails of Rocky River is able to offer Cleveland area customers the absolute highest quality products and services, without waiting years for mass merchants to commercialize product trends from industry leaders.
Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Kent State University, graduating Cum Laude as a member of Lamba Pi Eta, the National Communications Honor Society. Katie and her twelve-year-old daughter, Ashley, live in Rocky River with their two dogs, Rascal and Fiona.
